Time for another ten wedding songs in our rundown of the Top 100 Wedding Songs – counting down the ultimate playlist for the Big Day from the ceremony to the reception. Just like our other instalments, this one is a mix of genres from all eras and we hope it includes something for everyone.

69. Elvis Presley – Can’t Help Falling in Love

This absolute classic from The King himself must be a popular choice of first dance – and it’s not difficult to see why.

68. Norah Jones – Come Away with Me

It’s amazing to think Norah Jones’ debut album came out as long ago as 2002, but the fabulous ‘Come Away with Me’ has endured as a classic ballad. This is a fantastic slow-dance that will have all the couples swaying to the beat at your reception.

67. Temper Trap – Sweet Disposition

A good choice to balance out the inevitable cheesy wedding songs, this tune from Temper Trap brings you bang up-to-date. Its inclusion on a number of rom-com soundtracks has secured its place as one of the big love songs of this generation.

66. Ray LaMontagne – You are The Best Thing

There are so many comments underneath the video for this song on YouTube saying ‘This is our first dance song!’ that I just had to include it in this list. Soulful and with a great beat – this is the perfect choice for the happy couple’s first dance.

65. The O’Jays – Love Train

Alright it’s time for a little bit of cheese in this playlist – and while the O’Jays’ ‘Love Train’ might be an oldie, it’s still a goodie. You can be sure everyone will recognise this upbeat dance track, and no-one will be able to resist busting out their best moves.

64. Billie Holiday – What a Little Moonlight Can Do

Now this one might have been recorded as long ago as 1935, but for those looking for something a little different you can’t beat a little bit of Billie Holiday. This is about as happy a song as you can find, and throwing your partner around the dance floor to the sound of a jazz orchestra is sure to be loads of fun!

63. Noah & The Whale – Five Years Time

This is a lovely little love song from Noah & The Whale, and who can resist a ukulele?!

62. Take That – Could it be Magic

This is a must-have at any wedding, but brides who remember crying when Robbie left the band will have a special place in their heart for this little slice of early Take That from 1992.

61. The Tams – Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy

This one pretty much speaks for itself! Cheerful, uplifting, great beat – wedding guests of all ages will love dancing to this classic soul track.

60. The Cure – Friday I’m in Love

Thankfully The Cure’s punk credentials keep this classic from being considered too cheesy. Long-time Cure fans might wrinkle their noses, but I love ‘Friday I’m in Love’ – and you can be sure the majority of your guests will know all the words!

Well that’s it for another segment of our Top 100 Wedding Songs playlist! Don’t forget to get in touch with us on Twitter or Facebook to let us know if we have forgotten to include your favourite!
